What is there to let him believe that the Jaguars are on track to improve? There are no signs of steady improvement as far as wins and losses, which at the end of the day is what matters. Sure, there can be hope but it's not his job to be hopeful for the Jaguars. Ultimately, it's up to the Jaguars to win and change peoples' perceptions.

 

If he made these general comments about the Raiders (not making the right moves to build the team), he would be right in most peoples' opinions, except the Raider fans would be upset and argue otherwise. I think the same thing is happening here.

 

The record has nothing to do with what he said about the aquisitions this FO has made. It has everyhting to do with him being on drugs.

So he didn't just say we weren't seeing signs of improvement.  He said that we've gotten worse.  Which is pretty ridiculous seeing as we've never repeated our 2 win year those 2 years ago where we were just 'a quarterback away'

 

We were a QB away without a shutdown corner, a good pass rusher, a first year coach, and horrible contracts. Hell, lookin at the approach DC is taking compared to the "genius formally known as", I'm feeling really really good.
