Cornell Dean Advises on Starting ISIS club.

Quote:lol if freedom fighters from Northern Iraq and Syria doesn't throw red flags, I just don't know what to say.

The point of under cover videos is to get raw footage and information, if the guy says hey ISIS they cool to come here? It's going to blow the entire interview. I'm not buying the guy couldn't make a connection towards the end he stopped hinting and started become blunt.

The point of O'keefe's style of journalism is that "Gotcha!" style of journalism that tries to get people to say what he wants.  It skews the results.

Yes, it does blow the whole interview -- because it wouldn't give O'Keefe the results he wanted.  If the Dean of Cornell University really supported the idea of an ISIS Club, then O'Keefe wouldn't have had to be so misleading.  It was an undercover video.  He could have easily used the words "ISIS" but he didn't, knowing he'd be likely to get the results he wanted.

People don't usually hide their politics that well.

I mean a Maine Representative said: "If a woman has (the right to an abortion), why shouldn't a man be free to use his superior strength to force himself on a woman? At least the rapist's pursuit of sexual freedom doesn't (in most cases) result in anyone's death.""

The undercover video would have been better served using the actual term ISIS.  This would be a bigger story if he asked "Would it be okay to bring a fighter from ISIS here to speak at the college?"  If the Dean is really okay with bringing an ISIS fighter to speak at his college, he'd have said yes even if you use the term "ISIS".   Instead it's just gotcha journalism.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
