Terrible scenario. A third and a future 1st? No way. If there is this much talk about a bunch of teams wanting to trade up for Mariota, Im sure we could get a better deal, and we should.


If I'm giving you a franchise QB, you're gonna pay for it, and more than likely over pay for it. Kind of dreamin here, but I feel like to get a QB who you think is going to head your franchise, I'm gonna need 2 1st this year and another 1st next year, or 3 over the next three years.


There's a pretty good chance all of the players I want in the draft will be gone by 12 ( Williams, Fowler, Beasley). If I couldn't get more than a third this year and a first next year, I think I'd rather just pick one of them.


At the very least, I'm gonna want two first rounders and an exchange of this years round one picks.
