Quote:The browns won't be as bad as some people think. I can see them picking in the middle of next year draft. So that to me is a downer on that option unless the Jags get a compensated well.
The 3rd pick is GOLDEN!! Especially with the top talent in this years draft. Anything after pick 20 is no where near as good as some are making it out to be.
Moving 9 spots will cost the browns especially as it has been said, it's or a franchise QB.
I'm no GM or expert, but to me it's a "show me now" time with DC and we need talent, starter talent in this draft.
To move I would take #12 (1st), #43 (2nd), and trade our 5th for their 4th this year. Icing on the cake would be next year #1 from the browns, this is a must.
The browns will still get the #3 (1st) and the #19 (1st) so they can afford to not look back at loosing their second round pick.
This gives the Jags.....
#12 (1st)- Gregory, Beasley - (if he drops), Dupree
#36 (2nd)- Kendricks (LB)
#43(2nd)- Ajayi (RB)
#67(3rd)- Grasu ©
#103(4th)- Ifo-Ekpre (CB)
#111(4th)- ?
Knowing DC I would take that Extra 4th and package it with another pick to move back up if there is a guy he wants.
That's still not enough to go back that far. I know the charts aren't totally accurate, but they are meant to be a general gauge. To go from #3 to #12, we should get the equivalent of two additional second round picks. I was saying their 2nd round this year and next year's first because next year's first is equivalent to a second round pick this year. If you're ok with a second round pick and virtually nothing more, we should be able to get that much by merely moving back to #6. #12 is a lot further down the board.
