Being from Lexington and all, no one likes Dupree more than me. That said, him over Beasley is way jumping the gun. He definitely has ideal LEO size and athleticism, but he is just not a very good football player yet. He has great explosion, but he doesn't know how to use his hands, he doesn't have counter moves, and he doesn't have the ability to bend at all. UK did him no favors either, as they used him all over the place and he never got to master any one position. I have seen several sources that say he is just plain dumb too, and he reportedly only scored a 10 on the wonderlic. 

 

He would be a good pick candidate if we traded down some (I would easily take him over Ray, any OL, or any RB for example), but to take him when Beasley is on the board would be quite foolhardy.
