There are a lot of reasons but you don't pass up on a guy who is considered the best player in the draft, who you can line up anywhere on the line, just because you have a player you just signed on the line.


Theoretically its 3 or 4 players on that line at a time and you aren't telling me that Leonard Williams doesn't have the potential to be the best player out of any combination of 3 or 4 you can put together on our team. (Maybe you make an argument for marks, but who says he will be 100%....maybe never)
Its very rare for a top 3 pick not to start. Why use that kind of capital for a rotational player? He's not replacing Odrick after they spent first day FA money on him. He can't replace Miller because he's not a NT, same for the LEO position. Marks is the best player on the D-Line injury or not.
