Listened to the Sea Hawks GM on the radio this morning. In a " Captain Obvious " statement, he said that the league is designed for every team to go 8-8 over time. I believe that's true. The extent to which any team exceeds or misses that .500 mark is a measure of the effectiveness of ownership, coaches, scouts, and, not least of all, luck.
With that said, I believe that the Jags have most of those variables fixed. A great owner, good but yet unproven coaches, good scouting and analytical people. With a little luck, I believe the team will achieve a 7-9 record in 2015, and a 10-6 record, and reach the playoffs, in 2016. |
