Use Suggs as an example. At the combine and pro day, at 6'3 262, he ran a disappointing 4.8+ 40, only 19 reps on the bench, and 33 inches vertical. Although he had set the NCAA record in sacks and was a high motor guy, he fell down from the top 5 of the draft due to his "measurables". Baltimore snatched him with the 10th pick, and wound up with a 6 time pro bowl player, 2011 NFL defensive player of the year, and team career leader is sacks with over 106.


I don't think anybody was trying to rate combine drills over tape, at least I hope not.


Suggs is a good comp for Fowler. I like it. Just like the Houston one more and it's a lot closer than some on here will acknowledge.
