He was a defensive end who was an elite pass rusher. Everything Fowler did, Beasley did at Clemson, albeit less often. This versatility thing with Fowler is driving me nuts. He isn't versatile enough to drop into coverage regularly in the NFL and he hasn't done it since he was a freshman and 40 pounds lighter. He's a buck end who you can move into 3 different positions (probably 2) on the line and rush standing up as a linebacker. Beasley can certainly do all of that.Pretty much this too... |
