Seriously though I really don't understand the Fowler hate. People are just disregarding FACTS when it comes to Fowler and Beasley. You would think Fowler would be close to going undradted if you listen to the folks around here.

Compare the measurables.  Ryan Davis is basically the spitting image of Dante Fowler, in terms of height, weight, speed, agility, etc.

Yes, Fowler played much better competition... we get that.

But Davis has had himself a nice little year in 2014 as a pass rusher.  We'll see how long it takes Fowler to get 6.5 sacks in a year.

 

And btw, nationally - most people have never even heard of Ryan Davis - hence nobody will compare Fowler to him.

 

I do think Fowler will be better - but I think if comparing him to Justin Houston is fair, it's more than fair to also compare him to Ryan Davis.
