Sometimes I forget that I often play closer attention to OL play than the average fan who only knows about a guy if Oesher reports on him. Let me fill you in...


 

Pasztor was brought up from the practice squad as an undrafted rookie. Toward the end of their disastrous 2012 season, the Jaguars were searching for answers as their OL was failing to get the job done. As a last ditch effort they inserted Pasztor into the starting LG role for the final three games of the season. The result was better than they could have possibly hoped for. Austin blew open holes for the running game and looked great in pass protection as well. He looked so great that they thought just maybe he could play RT. The following season he'd get his shot when Monroe was traded. Starting with the Rams game that would see Joekel go down, Pasztor has started every game at RT that he's been healthy for.


 

Am I really the only one who remembers him dominating as a rookie LG to finish off the 2012 season? Pay closer attention people.
