I think we all know a lot of people who felt that. My grandfather, who'd been a registered Democrat his entire life (at the time he was 96), would have voted for McCain if it were not for Palin...and you're talking about a black, primitive baptist minister who'd never left the state of Florida other than conventions and vacations. Let that sink in a moment. She scared him...I assure you, that was not an easy thing to accomplish.
