(BTW, I am still waiting to see a DB worth a damn Penn State has ever produced).

 

Off the top of my head, I can name 5...maybe 7 good players to ever come out of Indiana over the last 30 years...period.

Mike Dumas had a decent year or two

Tracy Porter had the pick 6 in the Super Bowl, but was hardly a shut down CB.

 

That's pretty much it.

 

IU is, at best, the 3rd best football program in that state behind ND and Purdue in terms of caliber and number of NFL players produced.

 

Forget obvious Hall of Famers Len Dawson, Bob Griese, and Rod Woodson.

 

Forget a future Hall of Famer like Drew Brees.

 

I'd take Dave Butz and Jim Everett over ANY Indiana player drafted over the last 40 years.
