I wasn't around them to be honest. I was living in the ghetto part of Springfield at the time and worked daily with the public in the ghetto of Jacksonville, the majority of which were black, and they were all talking about how it was "about time a black man was in the House" and they'd never voted before but they were going to because it was an historic event and it about about time "their kind was represented" and "why should I vote for the white man? I don't vote because they're all white", etc. I never heard anyone speak of policies or agendas or anything. It was all because he was black and they were finally being represented. Which in essence I don't have a problem with. Being a female I'd like to see how a female would crack the Good Old Boys Club. But........ it can't be the qualification. 

 

Now it'll be the same with women fawning over Clinton because she's a woman. The democrat (and maybe some republican) women will vote for her over a democrat male because they want so much to be 'represented' by a woman. The thing those poor souls don't realize is she hates women as much as she hates men. She pretty much hates everyone, except maybe her daughter. 

 

Sarah Palin may not be a hater but she's just not smart enough to be in the WH. Not even a little bit.
