Trade #3 to Jets and draft Beasley or WR at #6

#30

Quote:With how much we rotate, he could line up as the 1-T, the 3T, or the 5T and get plenty of snaps.  Move him around and create mismatches.  Have a slow guard?  Play him at 1T or 3T on passing downs.  Need to stop the run?  Play him at RDE.

That's possible. Still that means the Jags are using the #3 pick on a rotation guy. Mostly he'd rotate in place of Marks or Odrick, with each then playing 2/3 of the time. Alualu becomes a bench warmer after just signing a new contract. And making Williams a jack of all trades on the DL is making him a master of none. Very few players turn out to be JJ Watt.

When I think about it, I guess every defensive lineman is effectively a rotation guy. They don't play every down like an OT or QB would.

The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
