Are the pass rushers in this draft really BAP? They all seem meh...

Quote:and this is another thing, the defense of beasley is his numbers and his explosive step, but when you talk about shane ray in the same context, then all the sudden no one wants him. oh was he? or are you making stuff up again? I know, you see SEC and think instantly "SEC > ACC" without any further analysis. who exactly did Ray beat for his sacks? Let's take a look: http://espn.go.com/college-football/play.../shane-ray a bunch of sacks against smaller schools and inferior competition (you count them still, but that doesn't help your argument about him doing it against better players) 2 sacks against south carolina. One 1, he beats the right guard (will sport: nothing special) and OT corey robinson (listed as a 7th round prospect/rookie free agent). 2 sacks against Florida. Beat Humphries on 3rd down on a speed rush (obvious passing down, but it still counts: good sack) and another sack where Humprhies had him blocked but the QB scrambles in that direction for basically a gain of 0 - it counted as a sack. 2 sacks against Kentucky against their LT: listed as a 5th-6th round prospect by NFL.com 1 sack against Texas A&M: Couldn't find the sack or who he beat. So your argument that he played against better players overall may be true - but it's not like he beat those better players on a regular basis. Beasley has 33 sacks in his career and I'm sure I wouldn't have a hard time finding him beating much better prospects for sacks than Shane Ray. So the entire 2014 season (without counting texas AM because I couldn't find who he beat) and the only good prospect he beat was DJ Humphries. thanks for playing. So what exactly did Ray do against better competition? Don't worry, I'll wait.
