Oh yeah. Absolutely. I drove up to orlando to see the Marlins play the Braves in spring training so I could a Disney/Baseball day, having a beer and sitting in the sun. 

The average baseball score for a nine inning game is nine total runs, so you're looking at 5-4, 6-3, 8-1, 7-2 etc. There is more scoring on average than hockey or soccer, but the pace of the games make it very interesting. I do think that is one of the main factors of the decline. It's just a slow game.

 

When it comes to MLB I can only watch when the Pirates are playing. I can sit down and watch just about any football game, and most professional soccer games. Just can't do that when it comes to baseball.
