I watched the first four seasons and then decided to read the books. I was wrapping up A Dance with Dragons (the last published book so far) just this past week. It's an odd change going from someone who didn't know the books to someone who read them rapid fire over the past few months and now watching the show again. In the first two episodes so far, as I watch I find a part of my brain comparing the differences between the show and the book.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.
