5 Can't Miss Prospects

Jason La Canfora from CBS Sports spoke with an unidentified NFL talent evaluator who says there are 5 can't miss prospects in the draft. Basically there are these 5 guys, and then there is everyone else. Here is the list:
1. Leonard Williams 2. Dante Fowler 3. Shane Ray 4. Kevin White 5. Amari Cooper He said there is a huge dropoff after that. I'm not sure how many players I would say are can't miss prospects, but if this guy is accurate the Jaguars are in a good position this draft. He said after the first 5 there are some tiers, but not a whole lot of difference going into the second round. He also put a premium on pass rushers due to offense generally being ahead of defense in the NFL (which I don't see applying to the Jaguars). Many would be surprised to see Ray in the top 5, but I'm not really surprised (though the foot is a concern). We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
