Iconic "Jaguar Building" downtown getting new lease on life?
|
Everyone who has driven downtown for anything knows this building, especially i they've traveled over the Main Street Bridge heading into town. It's an old insurance company office and bank that has been closed for years. The windows were boarded up and painted with a prowling Jaguar. The current owners were actually looking to demolish the place because the roof had partially collapsed. It's going to cost a small fortune to bring the building back to life, but this is worth the investment.
In a sign that downtown is starting to look for ways to bring people back into the city, this building is hoping for a renaissance. More venues downtown is always a good thing. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
