I admit that SO FAR this trade has looked badly for the Colts... However, we need to figure out a way to get him in space, because when he's in space he's tough to bring down. I don't understand why we continue to run him right up the middle out of the I formation. We need to switch it up. When we do screens with him/pitches/runs to the outside he gets decent yardage.

 

Also, just like to remind everyone: last year when Colts traded for Vontae Davis everyone was saying how terrible of a trade it was for us (he started slow last year and was injured). End of last year and so far this year Vontae has been terrific. Although last Sunday vs. Texans was his worst game this season he has played at a top 5 level. He's been great.

 

So, with that being said time can change our minds, but we'll have to see it. Not promising so far.
