I know he isn't a CB.

 

Detroit has had a need for CB for years, and going into this draft, I thought this might be a good year for them to finally get one in the first round.  But when there was the early run on CBs with Waynes, Johnson, and Peters all off the board by KC's pick, there was nothing there for Detroit to take in the first as far as CBs.  I didn't expect them to take a G at that spot, but they nabbed Tomlinson.  They may now have the best pair of guards in the league.

 

But yes...reading it, 8 was poorly constructed.  Will edit.
