Jaguars select fowler

Quote:Gabbert had it between the ears. His problem is that he was just a practice guy. A superhuman practice guy. That's the tease that's kept him in the league.Only thing between Gabbert's ears was dried corn husks. But moving on...... Fowler can't just be a role player or a "just a guy" he needs to be a stud from day 1. We can't afford to spend high picks on players that are not stars. This franchise has wasted far too many early picks on garbage players. Caldwell better have hit a home run with this guy. His learning curve should be shorter than Joekel's and Bortles because of scheme fit and position, so there's no excuse for him. Caldwell now has his LT, his QB and now his pass rushing specialist all with early picks. It's time to start seeing some real results.
