Also, just like to remind everyone: last year when Colts traded for Vontae Davis everyone was saying how terrible of a trade it was for us (he started slow last year and was injured). End of last year and so far this year Vontae has been terrific. Although last Sunday vs. Texans was his worst game this season he has played at a top 5 level. He's been great.

 

So, with that being said time can change our minds, but we'll have to see it. Not promising so far.

 

Wouldn't you rather a more dynamic running back like Donald Brown get the ball in space? Just wasting plays in an attempt to justify the trade.

 

On your Vontae Davis point (although he was horribly burned by Andre) he always had the physical skills and therefore it's understandable that he got significantly better with more playing time.

 

Trent Richardson is slow, i'm not sure how playing more games and getting beat up more will make him faster or more agile.
