This year they are 6-2. They have wins over the 49ers (6-2), Seahawks (7-1)  and Broncos (7-1). No other team in the NFL can come remotely close to a victory list like that.  Last Sunday they overcame an 18 point margin on the road and won. At minimum, they are clearly contenders.

 

Please. Honest question. What am I missing? 

 

Though Andrew Luck does look a bit like the missing link, he's no Jughead.  That's right.  Since Manning left, the AFC South has been in a persistent state of AFC twilight zone decline.  It may seem you're in good shape.  After all, Andrew Luck could slip on 3 banana peels and score 3 touchdowns, but in the end, the wrath of the AFC South curse will catch up with you.  You have been warned.
