There are tons of things a player can do that can impress a coach. You don't have be in pads to demonstrate that you are going to give 110%.


Coaches find exemplary effort impressive.
 

all i'm saying is that they haven't even practiced yet.  

 

So he may look like he's in good shape and is working hard in the weight-room.

 

Whooptee-doo.  I mean don't get me wrong, I'm glad that we're hearing that about him...  I just want to see them give him praise for some actual on-field performance for a change (and that may happen soon).
