Country music is a bad example, mainly cuz it's really bad... Lol ..
But there is a lot of violent glorifying white music... drop kick Murphy's is one I can think of of the top of my head. Not to mention all those violent movies... The point is, gangster rap is not the cause for this... What would be a better analysis is the socio economic background of the perpetrators, the perceived abuse of law enforcers, the war on drugs, and how that war has militarized the police and how that war on drugs has created a situation where one group of sees the police as the enemy and not the keepers of the peace... To blame music or other media is an easy way to not really think deeply about what is going on. |
