This country's judicial system may be broken, but it's preservation of innocence is not. Even judges have the ability to overturn guilty verdicts if they feel it's necessary.

Pretty sure that's not true. The question of guilt is laid out by a jury of peers, the judge is just there to hand out a sentence and to rule as to whether or not certain arguments can be applied in a given case.

Granted, there are certain courts where Judges pass out rulings, but not so much in this case.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
