Tanking is a setup that is done deceitfully. Huge difference.

 

It seems like your tin foil hat is on too tight. It appears to have squeezed out your common sense.


Nobody said anything about tanking an entire season, but I am glad you finally acknowledge the last regular season game can be meaningless. And I guess the writers from yahoo, NFL.com, and Vito Stellino all wore tinfoil hats raising the question.


Here is a clue. It was a 2-14 team! What would common sense mandate is more valuable to a returning coach and GM: sorting out the very bottom of a 2-14 roster, or getting a franchise QB?


For most it would be getting the franchise QB.


For you? Maybe that same momentum the team rode from 2011 to 2012. Makes sense from the "in Gene we trust" crowd.
