Lol...  Think about what you just said.  You just said don't let the fact that there's no real evidence the footballs were deflated detract from the speculation that there was a conspiracy to deflate said footballs.  That's like saying that I conspired to slash someone's tires and the tires haven't been slashed.  You have to start with if a crime or violation was actually committed before you infer a conspiracy. 

 

Secondly,  I have read all the relevant texts between jastremski and McNally who I mentioned in my detailed post but I guess that you missed it. 

 

At no time do they discuss any plan to intentionally deflate footballs after the referees inspection to a level in violation of rule 2.  At no time do they mention that tom brady instructed them to deflate footballs after the referees inspection and below a level as set forth in rule 2. 

 

It is the inherent duty of the ball boys to inflate or deflate a footballs as part of the preparation for the game within the allowed range to the QB's specifications.  So just using the term inflate or deflate doesn't mean tampering after the inspection of the ref.  That would be like saying just because I sent a text about driving my car I must be talking about driving with an alcohol level above the legal limit.  That's not a direct one to one inference. 

 

As for compensation, it is the standard practice of QB's to tip ball boys and attendants with cash and other gifts.  If you tip the bell boy or your waiter that doesn't mean you were paying her to kill your wife or embezzle from your company.  It just means that you were trying to be nice.  Autographs and sneakers are hardly proof that Tom Brady was conspiring to have balls inflated after the refs inspection to a level in direct violation of rule 2.

 

And you wrote so little I guess its just more convenient for you to ignore the fact that on one gauge used, the patriots balls are EXACTLY as the leagues own consultants believed they would be if they were inflated to the proper level and exposed to game conditions consistent with the AFC Championship game.  because hey, they took video of signals from the sideline 8 years ago or something.  So anyone who got a speeding ticket should be automatically at fault if they get rear ended at a stop light right.
