I don't see things ending well in Miami. The Patriots going 0-4 during Brady's absence might be their only shot at a division title, and a one-and-done in the wildcard round would probably spell the end for the coaching staff. Suh's going to go into 2016 wondering why the hell he signed there. Then he'll jump into his swimming pool full of money and be ok with being stuck on a loser again.

 

The cap situation in New Orleans is probably going to end up costing Sean Payton his job. I wouldn't count him out, though. A lot of gutting was done this offseason with young talent added to replace it, and if he can have a solid team in place when Brees retires/leaves, the transition to a new QB might not kill him.

 

The Jets are screwed. Revis and Cromartie in particular don't have a lot of prime years left, and Wilkerson is probably going to end up walking away. The cap situation might also make it difficult to find a quarterback when Geno Smith tanks (again).

 

The Eagles are completely screwed. Completely, totally, incredibly screwed, but the salary cap is the last reason why.

 

It's going to be good to be the Jaguars again next offseason, with a ton of money to throw at a key free agent or two (like Wilkerson?).
