Glossing over of slavery in regards to the civil war while sympathizing with the south. No talk about the Japanese internment. Barely touching on civil rights or woman's suffrage movements. I suppose conservative bias is perhaps a broad term and would not not be proper for some. More of the idea that America is the best, does nothing wrong and anything we did wrong along with the glorification of battles and war. Little context or insight into other nations or our interactions with them. 

 

I say conservative because the general basis of conservatives views of america is that we are the best and we should always lead because we are always right so my history books painted our country in this light drilling patriotism into us in a manner I disagree with these days.
