Not only did I address the overall point by stating we ought not gloss other the bad, I agreed with you America has done amazing things and added an example. The moon landing. The same one you are using here for what exactly? I'm not even sure what you problem is other than being obviously angry that I question the lack of balanced approach to American history. 

 

I'm not even sure exactly what your problem is, other than you are angry, have a unhealthy dislike of liberals, and have taken to insults as the rest of your conservative brethren favor.

I guess in today's society we need to be politically correct, so I guess I should say "I didn't mean to offend you or question your intelligence".  Does that make you feel better?

 

Rather than screwing around with all of this PC bs, I'll attempt to get back to the point at hand.  I cited several things that makes this country "great", but you seem to think that teaching about the greatness of this country is "wrong" or "right leaning".  As liberals tend to do, you choose to highlight or cite negative things rather than acknowledge everything positive.

 

One thing to note here.  President Ronald Reagan was always positive when he spoke of Americans and the future.  He always believed in the american people and what they could accomplish.

 

What you see out of President Barrak Obama is always negative.  Why is that?  It seems that the liberal progressive idea is always to be negative.
