Rather than screwing around with all of this PC [BAD WORD REMOVED], I'll attempt to get back to the point at hand.  I cited several things that makes this country "great", but you seem to think that teaching about the greatness of this country is "wrong" or "right leaning".  As liberals tend to do, you choose to highlight or cite negative things rather than acknowledge everything positive.

 

One thing to note here.  President Ronald Reagan was always positive when he spoke of Americans and the future.  He always believed in the american people and what they could accomplish.

 

What you see out of President Barrak Obama is always negative.  Why is that?  It seems that the liberal progressive idea is always to be negative.

Which part of, I agreed with you that America has done amazing things, is being lost on you? Is it because I didn't use star spangled colors or say Truly Amazingly Amazing American Things?

 

All of those things you stated are amazing and good things. Was it necessary that I go down the list and agree with all the obviously good and amazing things? One cannot just say yes we did amazing things? 

 

If you do not learn from history you are doomed to repeat it. I am saying that teaching American history but ignoring or glossing over all of the bad things is not American History. It's a watered down version. I do not understand why this seems to be so offensive to you.
