Though different teachers do treat rules differently.  My wife won't send a kid to the office for breaking any dress code rules unless it's such a blatant violation (Giant holes where they shouldn't be, n probably (though I'm not positive about that)

Your wife is smart in covering her rear to keep her job. But, it's sad that people have to do that in fear of the repercussions of upholding rules or doing what they feel is right. I might as well go rob a bank, because after all can't I just sue the judge for giving me time in prison? Or the police department because of how they arrested me? Surely they got a description and then profiled me cause I matched it or something.
