Where does Bortles need to be by next season's end?
|
Quote:I'd settle for him still being able to walk after season's end......(LOL). Seriously, Blake Bortles is NO Tom Brady or Peyton Manning Or even Andrew Luck when it comes to "carrying a team". And, probably never will be. His success is as much dependent and intertwined with the teams ability to make big plays (particularly how the OL fares this season). To speak of Bortles without giving thought to just how good his OL is gonna be, is a huge mistake in my opinion. Also, if he has a slow start coming out of the gate, that kind of pressure to turn it around "NOW" or possibly sink further just might be too much for a 2nd year QB. Like I said, an Andrew Luck he is not! Might as well just cut him and start over,
