I was listening to NFL Radio yesterday and tons of Raiders fans called in complaining about being ranked 31. They said its Peter Kings opinion so why does it offend you so much, and if your team is great they will prove it in the season.
The fans saw it as a hurt to their pride according to a few fans. I dont understand this way of thinking. I am a fan of the NFL and the Jacksonville Jaguars but I dont get so emotionally attached as I feel my pride has been attacked by someones opinion of the team or the sport. I think these people might need to seek other hobbies or events to seperate themselves from the sport if they are getting that emotionally attached to it. |
