In 2014,  Calvin Johnson was out for 3 full games and severely limited in two others.  The Lions went 4-1 in those games.  The Matthew Stafford of old wasn't able to compensate for the loss of Calvin Johnson.   In 2014 though,  Stafford had his lowest interception total in a full season of his career.   Stafford didn't put up the big numbers that he did in some other seasons but for the most part he eliminated the mistakes that enabled the team to finish 11-5.
