Problem is it doesn't make it right or anything more than a participation award.. The guy basically spoke how hard it is to make the playoffs and as a Texans fan, trust me I know that what he says is true.. It's hard to win in the NFL.. Everybody knows that, that's a given going in, but just because it's hard doesn't give you the the excuse to create a banner for losing a game and go against what real meaningful banners stand for.


Your team lost a game/got blown out and they raised a banner for it..Did they go out for pizza and ice cream after the loss also? It's coddling and it isn't just the Colts either..


That/those banners illustrate everything that is wrong with current America. Everybody is a winner.. Instead of people accepting failure and going home empty handed everybody needs to be congratulated, because "even though you came up short, you really tried hard..here you go buddy".


Sometimes it's good to not be praised and have your nose rubbed in it, take your [BLEEP] whooping, and taste defeat..that's what makes you work even harder so you don't feel that way again..this "everyone is a winner" or "we don't keep score" crap that is going on today is a joke and it's creating a entire generation of sissies who never develop the necessary coping skills to deal with failure or adversity.. We now praise almost good enough and it's sad.. Freaking sad.
