Had you made it to the Super Bowl and then lost, I would completely get the AFC Champions banner.

But losing the Conference championship and putting that banner up makes no sense at all.

That's pretty much the way I see it too.

The Pats did go 16-0 in the regular season, that is a big accomplishment. They can hang a banner for going undefeated in the regular season.

Do the Pats have a Super Bowl "Finalist" banner hanging up for all their losses in the Super Bowl, even the one that cost them the perfect season?
