McCain didn't want to be president?
Of all the things you can say about McCain, that's not one of them. Just look how bitter he became after his loss. His choice of Palin was the ultimate political move based on his desperation to be president. Against his better judgement he tapped Palin to be a game changer. It blew up in his face because Palin turned out to be a joke (much like trump is), but he didn't pick her to tank the race because he didn't want to be president. |
