I still think it is odd he isnt in there. He is such an important figure in the annals of baseball. Maybe he bet on games, but clearly it didnt impact his play. He is the alltime hits leader. A record that may never be broken. Just seems odd that a kid could go to the Hall of Fame and not see anything about the alltime hits leader.

Maybe they'll wait for him to keel over before they admit him. Or maybe they never make him a member, but they should still recognize him in some fashion. The Hall of Fame is more than just the collection of the best ever players. It's the history of baseball. And Rose, good and bad, is one of the key figures of the sport.
