2016 Presidential Candidates
|
Quote: At this time, Marco Rubio would be my 6th choice. I've done a bit of research this morning, and have a top 3 so far. 1. Marco Rubio 2. Ted Cruz 3. Bobby Jindal Something that I've noticed and was discussing with my wife this morning. All three have a couple of things in common. 1. All three are sons of immigrants and have a deep appreciation for the opportunity that this country provides. 2. All three seem to place their focus on the future, and want to solve some of the most immediate problems that really matter (in my opinion). Immigration, the economy and foreign policy are the most important issues at hand in my opinion. Also, education is brought into the mix, and I can see where that is an important issue as well. This is an interesting interview that Marco Rubio did on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. One other thing that is common to my top three is the fact that they are all young, and none of them are "establishment" candidates. What is amazing to me is, contrast their speeches and interviews with Hillary's speech announcing her candidacy (she seems to be very reluctant to conduct interviews). How anyone could be a Hillary supporter is beyond me. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. |
