You have a funny definition of hate. Do we hate the plow horse who works our fields or the milk cow who feeds our kids? Because that is the same way those people felt about their slaves. It simply isn't realistic to ascribe our modern understanding of humanity and proper societal etiquette to people from a bygone era. It was economics, not hate, the kept chattel slavery alive.

 

Nazis? They were truly hateful by their scapegoating of non-Aryans for all their cultural problems.
