At the same time, there is no way one can justify making definitive statements about the lack of progress considering the major investment made in this roster over the offseason. There is no basis for his commentary other than rubbing into our face the lack of success in past seasons. The lack of success combined with major upgrades should lead to the conclusion that it would be almost impossible for some sort of progress not to be made, but that would defeat the purpose of his posts.
