The girl initiated all the physical contact.  She raised her hands so his response was to push her hands down.  Her response to that was to swing at him and he swung back.  I'm not saying he should have swung at her (nor would I ever), but obviously different people have different levels of defending themselves.  I may not be comfortable with swinging like that at a girl, but apparently he was.  If she's ready to swing on anyone, she better be able to deal with the consequences.

Ok. You feel she deserved it and should be ready to deal with it. I don't think men hit women...with a clenched fist no less.

If he wasn't in a bar, underaged in a town where his predecessor got into a lot of trouble, and obviously pushing his way up to the bar, which agitated the woman it wouldn't have happened and he clearly has no concept of consequences.

But maybe if he eased up, said excuse me and bellied up to the bar she would have reacted the same. Ok.

Now he's claiming she used a racial slur and that's why he popped her. So what was the reason?

He deserved his removal from the team
