Yes, I did finally look it up and they are quite hideous. There's no way in hades I'd wear those things. Like- ever. And I'm a product of the 80's where fashion was a hot mess but we loved it back then.

The funny thing is almost everything in the 80's and 90's (and maybe before) was considered high-waisted until low riders came out. We didn't know any better, we just wore ugly clothes. Lol.
