i have a med lighting rod that was 6'6 but i broke 3'' off the tip on accident and it ended up stiffening it up a bit. so i stuck a little flueger with 15 lbs braid on it and keep it in my truck, i have caught more fish on that stupid thing cause i always have it on me... my problem is when i get something expensive, i dont end up using it as much cause i dont bring it everywhere. i have a st crox with a stadic on it that has barley seen the water cause i dont take it in my kayak or anywhere i think it could be dunked lol. 

 

i have to stay away from the tent sales at strike zone cause end up buying something every time i go in there lol... they always have good deals on stradics too.

 

i have the red and black penn fierce too and i love that reel... its another one i take everywhere cause i really dont mind beating it up a bit.

 

i've been wanting to try one of those "star" or "all star" rods from academy, my buddy has one and loves the set up.
