I've went back and seen a lot of Richard Pryor and Bill Hick's work. Both guys were hilarious. Especially Hicks. When I look back at his work from the 80's and early 90's it's funny because a lot of his viewpoints then on the world are relatively close to how I feel about today's world at my own age of twenty-seven. Carlin as well. It's hard to dislike those guys. I'll add Robin Williams into this discussion as well. He had two really good stand-ups that I enjoyed as a kid.

 

As far as living comedians. It's hard for me to say. Maybe I am just not looking hard enough. Dane Cook was funny maybe when I was in Highschool. Just can't get into him anymore. I enjoy Daniel Tosh's stand up. He's pretty edgy. I liked Pablo Francisco for awhile. He got too repetitive. Lewis Black is awesome. Love his views and deliveries. Another guy I like but hasn't done stand-up in awhile is John Leguzziamo. He's a good story teller. He's full of energy. And he does a good job of making fun of himself. Louis C.K is hilarious.
