While we certainly would be considered the underdog in the match-up, I think that point is completely irrelevant.  If you're a fan of the NFL, you want the opportunity to see the best the NFL has to offer, even if you're likely to come out of the game on the losing end.  And suppose the Jags defy odd maker expectation and pull out a win.  Those are always the sweetest victories to celebrate at the end of the day.  I'm not paying for season tickets to only see games we have a chance to win.  I'm paying to see the games where we have an opportunity to face off against the best, and possibly walk out with a win despite the odds.

 

I agree and that is what is frustrating. I think we got lucky this year that there was not a "premium" opponent in our home schedule, so they moved Buffalo. 

 

O'Halloran mentioned in the paper over the weekend that in 2017, they have home games against Baltimore and Seattle. And in 2018, Philadelphia and Washington. I would expect that we lose one of those home games each year. 

 

It sucks.
